Several entities make up the firm – Augment General Counsel is a New South Wales Law Society licensed law firm insured by LawCover in Australia; Augment Legal Counsel Pte Ltd is a foreign law firm licensed by the Legal Services Regulatory Authority and Ministry of Law of Singapore to provide international legal services; and Augment Legal Offshoring Inc. is an offshoring and corporate services centre in the Philippines. It is staffed by fully qualified lawyers and accountants with in-house training and experience.

Founding Director Chris Dancey is a dual qualified English/Australian lawyer, a former Asia Pacific regional General Counsel of a UK FTSE 250 company, a Chartered Company Secretary and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia. Augment only recruits from the top law schools and it ensures that the lawyers who work with its clients are suitably trained and experienced. Our lawyers all have deep and broad in-house legal, compliance, risk, governance and corporate services expertise.
